The text event for XP_TE_DCCCONFAIL located in src/common/textevents.in:265 has a typo in it.
It should be "DCC Connection Failed" instead of "DCC Conection Failed" (ConNection with double N).
Took me ages to figure out why my perl hook wasn't working, before realising the event itself has a typo in it.
