#12 Improve "const correctness"

Would you like to apply the advices from the article
"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Const_correctness" to
your sources?
I suggest to add the key word "const" to the type
specifiers of parameters like "filename" for the
function "AVI_open_...put_file" and "src" for the
function "update_channel".

the CVS.
If you are OK about that you can commit your actual work
and your future work too.
Please test all your modifies before commiting anything and
of course don't forget that there are other peoples that have
the write access on the CVS (but I suppose that you know
that ;-)
