New release

After a short delay we are pleased to announce a new release. This release continues the material in chapter 3 which is three quarters complete. Peter James' proof reading additions and corrections up to the middle of chapter 3 have been incorporated. A start has been made on chapter 4 with the first section complete.

There has been a new release of source code examples to accompany the book. Work has started to get these examples online with a more detailed line by line analysis of the code.

At present work on the accompanying CD with up to date Devpaks has been halted. The reason behind this is that a new release of wxDev-C++ is pending which will unite the previous branches. This change will alter various aspects considerably. At present I have built the 2.7.0 wx libraries and created Devpaks containing the necessary templates. The problem is that these templates will be incompatible with the new release.

The next release of the book should not be so delayed.
