ShisenSho for Windows 0.2.0 released

ShisenSho is a Windows clone of the famous KDE game KShisen.

With release 0.2.0 I implemented many features from the KDE4 version of KShisen, as well as other new features. These include:

  • zooming tiles according to the window size
  • new game types "Chinese Style" and "Sliding Tiles", allowing to push tiles together
  • in Hall of Fame, the game type is displayed as a mouse-over hint
  • new game field size 16x9
  • autosave/load of current game
  • solvability check is now display in the status bar
  • save position and size of the window

It also fixes some cases in which the player name is misspelled in the Hall of Fame dialog. However, existing misspellings cannot be corrected.

As always, there are further bugfixes and code changes. See the changelog for a complete list.

Just for your fun, I've also updated the Winter Edition to the 0.2.0 release.

Important note: This release requires GDI+ to be installed. While it ships with Windows XP and above, you will need to install it for earlier versions of Windows. You may want to download the redistributable package from Microsoft:
