#7 Extended executable attributes
I’m in the process of switching from launch4j to WinRun4J, so naturally I fouynd things I like in one that are missing from the other.
A Windows executable can carry many attributes, and a number of them are also shown in the Explorer. Launch4J allows to specify fileVersion, txtFileVersion, fileDescription, copyright, productVersion, txtProductVersion, productName, companyName, internalName and originalFilename. I’ve no idea what all of those mean, but at least file version, file description and company name seem to show up in the Explorer and it would be nice to specify them in WinRun4J, too.
