Despite repeated saves being discouraged, users still
resort to saving 5 times a minute while making changes.
This can happen either to newbies or to those who have
a unreliable network connection. They just want to
submit their changes before the next connection timeout.
It'll be better to have a feature than to put the onus on
to the user. If there are more than one consecutive edits
by the same user, these can be merged in the history as
one big edit.
Also it won't make sense if consecutive edits by the same
user have a gap of a day. If a time period between two
consecutive edits is something like less than 30 minutes,
then the edits can be merged.
