This will probably be a simple issue but I am having a problem installing. After extracting the zip file into my eclipse directory, I restart eclipse and I don't see the new views or any hint that the config recognizes the new plugin. Can you help?
I am using Java 1.5 and eclipse 3.2 on windows XP

sorry...I am using the 1.4.0 version of wicked shell
Hi Rodney,
there are two things you can check; I don't know whether you've already tried that but anyway...
First, you can see if your workbench 'sees' Wicked Shell. Simply go to
Help->About Eclipse SDK->Plug-In Details
And scroll down if you can't find Wicked Shell here, check whether you can find the
net.sf.wickedshell-1.4.0
folder in the plugins directory of your eclipse installation directory.
If you can't find it there, your extraction went wrong.
If the Plug-in details table list your plugin, you might try to start your workbench with -clean.
I hope that helps, if not, give me a hint!
Thanks for trying Wicked Shell!
Regards,
Stefan
It wasn't listed in the plugin directory. But the -clean did the trick however. Thanks....
Hope you enjoy Wicked Shell then :)
Cheers!
Stefan
