you can test the new 0.5 version right now;
there is a tested windows installer and a new linux-installer.
the full 0.5 version will include a bunch of bugfixes & docs
In the next few days we will release version 0.3 - with experimental GUI support and distutils for installation.
Version 0.4 will be released shortly after that, containing a stable and fast GUI.
The development of version 0.5 will start then, with a full user-documentation and some code rewritten (faster, more beautiful).
After 25 days of development, the wesen (german word for "something alive") project releases it's first results.
Wesen is a simulation of lifeforms and food in a n-dimensional world where the user programs different species directly in Python.
Currently, the wesen are able to look, eat, reproduce and communicate.
