If you have problems installing the ZIP file under Webmin, try to unzip the contents and compress them to a ".tgz" (tar - gzipped) file. Then try to install that TGZ. That should work OK.
I am proud to announce that since the beginning of the project there have been more than 4000 downloads and 30000 page hits. Well, while not glorious, it's a lot more than I expected when I started. Thanks a lot to everybody!!
This new version adds some very useful tape commands, contributed by Hannu Tikka.
Check it out and give it a try!
The version 0.40 of the Webmin module for Amanda has been released.
Among the new features there is a debug file navigator, to help in the maintenance of Amanda installations, and ease the setting up process.
You can see the release notes for details, but the highlight is the new status-check menu, where you can perform common backup status-checking tasks.
Upgrading is highly recommended.
Looking forward for you feedback...
Due to a version error, the 0.2 alpha release is quite buggy. Please, update to 0.21 alpha, ASAP.
Thank you
It has some bug fixes, plus new page footers, and some more i18n support.
Hope you find it useful!
Well, the web page has just started. Now it's completely out of content, but I plan to solve it in just a few days.
See you there!!
A few changes to ease installation and some misconfiguration bugs fixed.
Any help and feedback will be greatly appreciated.
Hope you start to find it useful
Just a very first version to help in configuring an Amanda configuration. No support for monitoring yet.
Feedback will be greatly appreciated.
I must give some credits. The icons have been borrowed from the excellent MSC.Linux theme.
Some code and ideas has been borrowed from the pserver webmin server.
I am currently using both of them at work in a production system, and they are great indeed.
Also, thanks to all the people that has been asking me for this project and please forgive me! ;)
Now, the very first release of the module is available in the CVS repository.
Only, backup configuration and status is implemented at this time.
Please, consider this as a pre-alpha import, tested only in SuSE Linux 8.0 (i386).
Programming and requisites feedback will be greatly appreciated (I'm new to Perl Programming).
Should you prefer a "true" file release, please let me know.
Thank you all.
