    Hi there,

Since I've updated Java from 1.6 to 1.7 I'm getting a warning when I open the FileManger. First it's telling me that it's an unsigned application with requests excecution permissions. After I check that and click forward it's telling me in a next warning, that the certificate is not valid and that the application will get blocked in a future Java Update because the Manifest of the .jar file does not contain the property "Permissions".

Any ideas how to fix that or is there a new version of the file.jar file? I'm running Webmin 1.660.

    Thanks & Cheers
    Chris

FileManager stopped working for me today because of the java being blocked by FireFox. Can't find a solution other than using old versions of FireFox and java. This is not an option for me. Any suggestions? The FileManager is very important to me.

You have to create an exception in Java to get FileManager to run again.

      Open "Configure Java"
      Click on "Security" tab
      Click "Edit Site List"
Add the full URL where you use FileManager
      Click "OK"

That should allow you to begin using the program again.

This is what I did to work around.

In the Java Control Panel, I changed the security from "High" to "Medium" and it allows the Java to run. On Windows the Java control panel can be found in the Windows control panel.
