Hi folks,

when you try to execute a cron job manually they will
not have all exist user rights.
Example:
As we have installed a Domino Ver.5.0.10 on a SuSE
Linux 7.3 incl. the Symantec AntiVirus Ver. 2.5, we
wanted to start and stop the Domino Server with a cron
job manually to test if the job works fine.
But we got everytime an error that tells us that the NAV
don't found his virusdefinition files!
When we start the cron job automatically it works very
fine without any problems.
It seems that the cron job when it is start manually he
don't get the right user rights!
Many greetings from South Germany!
Daniel and Andre

The problem may actually be that some environment
variable that is set when the cron job is run on schedule
is not set when it is run from webmin ..
Find out what variables NAV needs, and set them in
the cron job command line if you like.
