#1639 Debian configuration saved to the wrong place

No

Reported by a Debian user:

webmin-bind saves all the configuration of the zones and
other things into /etc/named.conf but
bind9 packages have a split configuration. named.conf
should stay untouched and zone-configs should go
to named.conf.local and all options to named.conf.options
so that there are no conflicts when updating the debian
bind9 packages.

Thanks - do you in which Debian release this file structure
    started to be used?

That would be sarge/sid. However many people including myself
are using a backport to woody. So if there were some way you
could detect this at runtime (by maybe parsing the include
statement?) it would be preferable. And once again if you patch
this before the next webmin release I would appreciate an early
copy so I can update the Debian package.

Attached is an updated module that will add to
/etc/bind/named.local , but only if it is referenced with an
    include line ..
This will also go into the next Webmin release.
