#15 "Create Pane" menu does not appear
After I download and open WaveSurfer v. 1.8.8p3 on my Windows XP computer, I right-click in the center of the pane and mouse over "Create pane." I would like to select "Spectrogram" but no sub menu appears with this option. Nothing happens when I mouse over "Create pane." This only happens if I download the program using the browser Internet Explorer. All other browsers seem to be fine, but when I download the program with IE 7 or 8, this problem occurs. Also, when I open the program to run, the initializing window says "Initializing 15 components" whereas when the program is downloaded with other browsers it goes up to 27 components. Could these issues be related? I normally wouldn't care and just download it through Chrome, but I am recommending that this program be used by Speech Language Pathologists for speech therapy, and most of my audience is not familiar with computers, so they are very likely to use IE rather than better browsers. It would be very helpful for me if this bug were fixed rather than teach people how to use another browser every time they have this issue.
