This stable release includes significant improvements to action system. Style engine has been updated to support pixmap and transparent textures. Text can now be rendered double buffered with transparency and shadow. Multiple screen and multiple desktop support has been added. XINERAMA and RANDR extensions are now supported. KDE3 and GNOME2 support is now fully implemented.

Waimea is a virtual desktop window manager for X11 designed to be fast and highly customizable. It uses Blackbox image rendering engine (Blackbox styles support) and can use Xft library for font rendering (anti-aliased font support). This release adds support for delayed actions in action system, multiple screens, KDE3/GNOME2, dynamic menus, text shadows, border control for pixmap stretching and regular expression matching for both window specific action lists and dockapp ordering.

The font system has been rewritten and is now much more configurable. X core fonts can now be used even though waimea have been compiled with Xft support and support for translucent Xft fonts have been added. This version also includes better transient window handling and many bug-fixes have also been made.

This release adds support for configurable titlebar buttons and better handling of transient windows. Many bugfixes has also been made.

The action system has been upgraded to version 2, support for translucent texture via Xrender extension has been added, and there is better dockappholder configuration.

Fixes some critical bugs that appeared in v0.1.6, better configure script and gcc 3 support.

Last release in the v0.1 branch, next release will be stable v0.2.

Changes:
Pass-through action support for client windows. New advanced restart function. Many bugfixes where made.

Another great release, we are starting to get closer to the stable v0.2 release and from now on development will be focused on bug fixes and stability. New features in this releese are checkbox item support in menu system, window decoration control functions, double click event support and Waimea is now EWMH v1.1 compliant.

Dockapp handling system is now complete, includes support for multiple dockapp holders and ordering of the dockapps in the dockapp holders. Support for external pager applications, Andreas Larsson have made a dockapp pager named wampager that works very well, try it out.

This is a big update from v0.1.1. Many of new features are introduced.

This release adds TaskSwitcher, KeyEvent support, ViewportMove action and command line execution support in action system. Plus many bug-fixes.

Next Release will include a dockapp holder.

Waimea now supports Blackbox menu files and the XShape extension.

Blackbox menu file support has been added to current CVS.

Now both blackbox style files and menu files work with Waimea.

First public version finally out. Grab it from the files section.
