Write to a point

Hi
I am somewhat new to VTS. I am trying to test a connection to a Fieldserver BACnet IP converter. I am able to do a Whois and can also read properties of a given point. I would like to test writing to a variable but cannot figure out how to do it. I have looked at the write property without success.

I have been in your shoes. Do you get a reply when you try to write? What information are you entering when you try to do the write?

Hi Mike

I have tried the write property, trying analog input, output and value. The problem I see, is there does not seem to a field to enter the new value. I can't help but feel I am going about this the wrong way.

Click the 'Any' button next to Value field in the WriteProperty tab, click 'Add', Select the data type, leave Context blank, and enter your new value. Click OK and Send.
