Hello,

I have recently installed the VSS plug-in and configured it to my VSS Repository. I would like to know if there is a way I can map the root of my project to the root of the VSS directory structure, but then when I synchronise, to explicitly ignore certain files or folders (for example my build folder or classes folder etc).

I have tried simply removing them from the synchronise view, but when I synchronise again, they come back.

I have used CVS in the past and know that there is a .cvsignore file to tell eclipse to ignore certain folders when synchronising. Is there something similar for the VSS plug-in?

Currently, the only way I can think of doing it is to have different mappings for each of my folders, but this is so annoying to have to synchronise each of the separately, it would be great to be able to simply synchronise at the root of the project.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Zahid
