Hi, I'm trying to convert my vss files using VSSExtractor and it hangs very shortly after I run the command. The only feedback I get is the message "Building project tree..." and a line in the logfile.txt that says "11/22/02|08:39:21|START |starting a conversion". I put the contents of the .ini file below. The vss files are on my local machine. I tried using a unc version of the SSDir, and putting the .exe file in the vss directory and using '.\' as SSDir. I also tried building the source and got "Cannot open include file: 'sax/HandlerBase.hpp': No such file or directory". Do I need to get the xerces source in order to build VSSExtractor? Thanks in advance, Richard Pickings # # VSSExtractor configuration file # # SourceSafe server repository [SSDir] C:\a\Courtney\vss # also tried #[SSDir] \\Hedwig\Hedwig_C\a\Courtney\vss #[SSDir] .\ # Local computer parameters [VSSPath] C:\Program Files\VSS\win32 [VSSExec] ss.exe [Tempdir] c:\temp # Conversion server name & port [Server] Opus [Port] 4555 # Projects to convert - there can be more than one [Project] $/BsDev/Column # Conversion mode - Toggle to No when you want to use an existing XML file [GenerateXML] yes # Edition mode - Toggle to No when you want standard conversion [EditXML] Yes # Recurse through the project tree ? Hello, I tried your programs VSSExtractor/cserver, it seems to do exactly what we want. Currently, we have a case problem with it. Is it normal that after converting a whole repository, all file names are low case ? Is there any option i missed ? Thanks for your help and for your VERY usefull programs, Xavier Hosxe |
