ViMS, PVR - Digital TV Recorder / News: Recent posts

I've put up some screenshots demonstrating some of the features of the new version of ViMS. - Look in the Screenshots section.
Work is currently in progress to write installation scripts, to ease the installation, as soon as these are done a new version will be put online.

Work has been halted on the PHP4 version of ViMS, instead work on the next-gen has begun, featuring several new features. In addition ViMS is moving to PostgreSQL from MySQL. More information will soon be available at http://roum.dk .

I have merged the new version (currently ViMS-0.2.1) into CVS, which is now the preferred download source.

ViMS -NG (Next Generation) is currently in testing, and should be released within the next week.

The new system has now undergone some testing, as has been released to the public. Currently download is only available from the Files section, the CVS is not up to date.

The installation manual does not yet reflect the new version, but will very shortly.
