vim.org leads to error page

With chromium, typing in "vim.org" leads to an error page asking whether I meant "www.vim.org". Most pages, such as "debian.org", will redirect and add in the www.

I just noticed this too.
This is a 5 minute fix by anyone that can update the DNS entry for vim.org and add a CNAME or A record that points to www.vim.org (CNAME) or it's static IP address (A).
The apex must not have a CNAME record (see http://serverfault.com/questions/613829/why-cant-a-cname-record-be-used-at-the-apex-of-a-domain ). A quick Google for "apex cname" will give a number of other results explaining why this is so.
