Like I said in the title, can or is is still safe to defragment my HardDrive, even though it is encrypted?

Note that for file-hosted containers, there are security implication to defragmenting the filesystem in which they reside. This is explained in the documentation: https://veracrypt.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Defragmenting
