Troubles after uninstalling the VDMSound 2.0.4 from
Windows NT 4.0 SP 6a!!!
After uninstalling the VDMSound Windows NT Explorer
doesn't know what to do with .EXE files! When I try to
launch a program by clicking a shortcut, the "Open
with" dialog box pops up asking what program do I want
to use to open .EXE files!
Additionally, Windows has lost all the icons from
shortcuts to .EXE files!
Reinstalling the VDMSound helps, though doesn't
restore the icons.
Repairs .exe, .com and .bat Explorer file associations

This is a known problem with the v2.0.4 MSI package.
To remedy the problem just merge the attached .reg file
into your registry (double-click on it from Explorer, or
open it from REGEDIT.EXE).
The attached registry file restores the .exe, .com and .bat
associations mistakingly removed by Micrsoft Installer.
