Hello,
I've problems with a WIN-TV USB Device.

The description on the bottom is:
PAL B/G
MODEL 40214 Rev B447

lsusb says:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0573:4d31 Zoran Co. Personal Media Division (Nogatech) Hauppauge WinTV-USB III (PAL) with FM radio Model 568

When I start xawtv with
$ xawtv -c /dev/video1 -vbidev /dev/vbi1
then I get the following error:
This is xawtv-3.95.dfsg.1, running on Linux/i686 (2.6.20.4)
X Error of failed request:  XF86DGANoDirectVideoMode
  Major opcode of failed request:  137 (XFree86-DGA)
  Minor opcode of failed request:  1 (XF86DGAGetVideoLL)
  Serial number of failed request:  65
  Current serial number in output stream:  65

So I used google to fix it an found:
$ xawtv -c /dev/video1 -vbidev /dev/vbi1 -remote -global:filter "linear bend"
But it works really bad, I mean, there is a bad black and white image.

I tryed tvtime and it tells me this:
    Your capture card driver: USBVision [Hauppauge WinTv-USB III (PAL) F/1-2/2313]
    does not support full size studio-quality images required by tvtime.
    This is true for many low-quality webcams.  Please select a
    different video device for tvtime to use with the command line
    option --device.

Can you help me?

Dmesg means this:
