Upon installing usbsnoop and setting "installed" status
to my device, either "restarting" from software or
physically unplugging/replugging my device I get a blue
screen. Fatal except 0x0e at 0028:ff049f35 in vxd
usbsnoop(03) + 00000615.
I can then no longer use the device. The capture gets
12 transactions on the device and 6 on one of its
subinterfaces. Device is a Logitech Quickcam Pro
3000, vendor 0x046d, product 0x08b0.
Attempts to uninstall still result in the inability to use
the device and machine lockups. The only way I've
gotten functionality back is to rename usbsnoop.sys
and reboot. Even rebooting with devices showing "not
installed" in usbsnoop causes the device to fail to work
so it seems like somehow usbsnoop is not getting
unhooked.
I'd really like to use usbsnoop to try to figure out how to
talk to this device since only windows drivers are
available and the manufacturer will not give out any
data. Thanks for any help you may have.
