I want to load a program into an S08 using free software from the GNU/Linux shell, execute the program on the S08, and get results out via RS232. The S08 should have at least 8KB of RAM.
Does the USBDM project provide the necessary software? What hardware (evaluation board, etc) would I need?

Would a TWR-S08JE128-KIT provide all the hardware I need to get started with S08 development?
