    Hi Mario,

I want to create my own repository. Several Uranos server will synchronize with it.
I plan to make a server Uranos accessible on the web with a local repository. Other servers Uranos use this server as an external repository.

Is this a good way to do this?

    Cheers

    Hi.
Sure you can do this in this way. If you set the repository to: "export" you can add it with the same name and type "external" in an other server. The repository location is then the URI to your installation wich holds the external repository, e.g. http://server/uranos/www/.
It is also possible to sync the repositories automatically. Let me know if you will need this.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Yes I will need to sync the repositories automatically. I guess I must create a task in crontab  to execute a file, but which ?

    Hi,
I will write you an script for that. There is a need for an CLI interface to sync the repos… I will write again if I am ready.

    Hi,
a new update (1813) is available. There is now support for cron syncing repositories. Take a look at the example script in:
    www/modules/cron/defaultcrons/sync_repositories.txt

If you have questions feel free to ask.

    Cheers
