Top verion 3.8beta1 hangs

I have a newly built Solaris 10 with top 3.8beta1. The system is an Oracle 10g server using ZFS. I ran "top -s 2" but after 10 minutes or so the display ceased to refresh. I ran the same version of top on another idle test server of the same OS build that hasn't have Oracle running, it appears to be running fine, continued to refresh the display. Please advise any additional information required for troubleshooting the problem.

That's curious. Ceased to refresh, but did it respond to any key commands? ^L or ? or even the space bar? If you have gdb and know how to use it, you can provide additional information by running top from within gdb, then when it stops refreshing type ctrl-\ to get back to gdb, then the command "where" to get a stack trace. It might tell me what it thinks its doing. 3.8 added caching of /proc files for solaris and there may be an issue with the code. I will check it.
