Unclutter: Hide X11 Cursor / News: Recent posts

Unclutter runs in the background of an X11 session and after a specified period of inactivity hides the cursor from display. When the cursor is moved its display is restored. Users may specify specific windows to be ignored by unclutter.

The version 1.08 code was released into the public domain by its author Mark M Martin <mmm@cetia.fr> in September 1992 and the program is packaged and shipped with many Unix/Linux distributions. However, there did not appear to be any central repository for the source code.... read more
