According to http://www.umplayer.com/features/audio.html, UMPlayer was able to playback MIDI and MOD format.
But actually after trying this software, I couldn't find any MIDI Synthesizer or MOD tracker library. And after doing some music playback, those format was unable to be played with UMPlayer.
I hope this can be fixed in the next release of UMplayer. You can try implement fluidsynth+soundfont for MIDI and LibModplug for Module format playback in UMPlayer.
