No

Both version 163 (svn number) and 0.95 are affected.
When I do and play Youtube this bug doesn't appear.
Infinit repeated messages when I load local video files:

Debug: MplayerVersion::isMplayerAtLeast: comparing 29407 with 33481
Debug: MplayerVersion::isMplayerAtLeast: comparing 25391 with 33481

That leads to absolutely non responsive program and to the fast memory consumption growth. The only way - terminate umplayer process.
The same bug 3302553 was not fixed.
The OS is latest Arch Linux. Smplayer works fine instead.

    I was able to reproduce this bug in ubuntu 10.04 (running umplayer 0.95)

    I have the option enabled to go fullscrenn when i reproduce a video (Preferences > General > Video > Start Videos in FullScreen (enabled).

    So when i open a video, it automatically plays in fullscreen after that, do the following to reproduce:

    - press spacebar key to pause to movie.
    - double click anywhere the movie to go off fullscreen.

    After that, and since i use a dock (AWN), i start to get many processes being launched (major memory leak) and UMPlayer gets crawling. The only way to end this is to terminate the process.

    Sorry the description of the problem from a point of a newbie. But if you can do that, described above you can reproduce the problem.

    It's mainly because of some changes in mplayer which seems to be returning hundreds of chapters now which are initialized in GUI - so error occurs when GUI is being showed.
    If you wait long enough it'll start working again (if you've got computer good enough) but you don't want to open chapters menu then ;)
    Here's my comment with simple workaround (pointing direct place of the problem):
