#109 Pressing STOP button pauses the file instead of stopping

Hi hello,

Please corrct this issue with pressing of the Stop button. This issue is still present in SMplayer in where if you simply press the Stop button during file playback, the file would pause playback instead of properly stopping playback and reverting the time position back to 00:00.

Please understand that this is how Media players do this with Stop button in that it stops playback fully and not pauses it.

I know that this issue is a backend issue related to Mplayer itself, but I can tell you that there is a fix for it according to another Mplayer front-end developer (MPUI by Martin Fielder).

Please borrow the 'Stop' function code from MPUI by Martin Fielder and add it to UMPlayer.

Currently I have to press STOP button twice in order for the file position to properly stop and not pause. - I've always noticed this about SMplayer and other MPlayer front-ends. Luckily in MPUI by martin fielder he fixed this issue with his own patch (open-source)
