Actually none of this is a problem by me, but it would
be nice to have an option to set up the screen
resolution 1280x1024 (more and more common on LCD
monitors that have good sharpness only at its maximum
resolution).

And for the microphone dB boost there could be one more
higher setting. I have a cheap microphone and am
currently using the systems mic boost option (it says
+20dB, but who knows) and the maximal one in UltraStar.

About resolution - once one component will be made, all
available resolutions will be selectable.

Try to lower threshold. Does it help?
