#40 I get points without singing

Hello everybody and congratulations for this excellent program.

I don't know why but when I sing I can't hear my voice.
Also if I don't sing I see some notes in the screen and I get points.... I've tried to disconect the microphone and it makes the same. If I go to control panel and I raise down to zero the mic level it "sings alone" too !!

I've tried with original USB PS mics and also with the soundcard mic input. In oher PC too.

Some help will be welcome.

Make sure the recording device in your sound card volume control/mixer is set to that specific microphone. If its set to "Stereo mix" or "what you hear" or something like that it will use the current output from the soundcard as a loopback input.

You will only hear yourself if the volume control/mixer setting for the microphone is loud enough and not muted. This control (located under playback devices in your soundcard mixer)is separate from the previously mentioned control(located as a recoring device). You can mute the microphone from passing to the speakers while still being able to use it for any programs that reads from it.
