The (GreaseMonkey) script is now allowed to use HTTPS for The West. Also the Java applet will be loaded via HTTPS, thanks to Gemini.
The level dependent damage is now included which should correct the crit list.
Also the amount of crits is now directly taken from the fortbattle data and no longer calculated. Additionally the amount of play deads and the average damage per player was added to the statistics.

You may have noticed that the fortbattle player was not updated often recently. This is because I no longer play The West. Therefore this project is no longer actively developed by my. If someone wants to have changes to this project feel free to drop me a message.
Changes:
6.7 added weapons "Will Munny's rifle", "Jeremiah Johnson's rifle", "Elfego Baca's rifle" and "Inferno"
6.6 added new items "pices of special ammunition" to statistics and new weapons "Chingachgook's gun", "Natty Bumppo's rifle", "Allan Quatermain's rifle", "Henry Walker's pocket watch" and "Cupid's arrow of love"
6.5 only counting crits if the damage is above 10% of the victims health
The Script was rewritten for The West 2.0. The Fortbattle Player no longer needs to be activated. On the bottom of the fortbattle report are links available for showing and exporting the battle.
Better late than never:
6.4 tried to improve performance:
- less background painting
- on start don't wait till diagrams are calculated
- some faster drawing (less blocking)
- changed grid and sector border drawing
6.3 crits are only counted for duelants (because some items also boost damage which is not (easy) to detect)
6.2 added images for all small towers and statistics per field as tooltip
6.1 added diagram for not shooting players per round
6.0 added diagram with shots and hits
Corrected the golden gun bonus to be only counted once per sector.
5.8
permanent lines and movement target on mouse over
Added tootlip for the movement target. Now you see who wants to move to a given field. Great for analyzing offline targets.
Added ordered list of combatants by their turns so you can see if your turn is early or late in a round.
Changed health distribution grapht to be a line chart and using relative values so values for attacker and defender are comparable
added statistics for additional weapon buffs from union pacific shop (i.e. weapon oils)
Fixed a bug in the export which displayed the fortbattle data not in a tiny small textarea but over the whole screen (at least in FireFox 10)
The user script is now compatible with Chrome! Also for people who had problems in Firefox this might help.
The statistics now show the amount of critical damage. That is all the damage above the average weapon damage.
Also the logging is disabled while loading a battle to improve start performance.
The graphit lubricant introduces in The West 1.32 is now also shown in the statistics. But there may some false positive if a bow was used (without graphit lubricant)
v4.4.1 fixes the position of dead players when skipping rounds.
Previous versions:
4.4 added round and victim to critical hit table
4.3 table layout for critical hit list
4.2 respecting golden gun attack/defend sector bonus for stats (TW 1.30)
4.1 corrected critical hits by respecting the golden gun damage bonus (in The West 1.30)
4.0.1 added search for weapon
latest additions:
List of critical hits in statistics
Also another standalone tool was added, which converts the battle log to human readable data. The LogToText.jar must be given a file with the fortbattle data and outputs the log as formatted text (ie. player names instead of IDs).
3.6
- allow to skip to round 0 (pre-battle positions)
- some little corrections to the statistics
3.5
- added pause button
3.4
- added diagram for combatant count
