#18 Patch for SMC1255FTX card

I ported some ancient driver of SMC to a current patch for the Tulip
driver. It supports the SMC1255FTX card which has a fiber and a tp
connector.

On open(), it will enable the fiber port on the card, have a look if it
gets a link and then switch back to tp and leave this as default.

All changes should only have an effect for tulip cards - aside some
small fix in tulip.h (tulip_private/default_port was defined to small).

I tested it successfully for several weeks now on my desktop and
think it's ready for other eyes now ;-))

Please have a look at it and apply if you think it's ok.
