It's possible to build and use transconnect on OSX but the distribution isn't setup to do that. Instructions for building and using transconnect on OSX are at http://thomas11.wordpress.com/2007/04/04/transconnect-on-mac-os-x/#comment-1342 . It would be great if these changes could be integrated into the source.
