If the application crashes, which I have yet to see it, it is never in stopped mode. At 45 and below, the BIOS has the fan off anyways. I figure if the app stops responding or, oOo Windows locks up in the middle of the night, tpfancontrol cant control the fan, so why not let the BIOS control the locked system. The CPU fan will always be running at some rate.
