I am running TOra 1.3.16 on CentOS 4.0 and getting an error message when I try to connect to Oracle 9.2.0.5 on a network computer.
In the new connection dialog box the only connection provider available is ODBC - Oracle is not an option. If I go ahead (I know there is no ODBC driver available, so expect a problem) I get the message "Unable to connect to database. Driver not loaded."
My question is what do I have to do to have Oracle as a connection provider on this machine?

Unfortunately, I have the same issue - 'Unable to connect to database. Driver not loaded'
My system - Fedora Core 3, kernel 2.6.11
Oracle 10g 10.1
TOra 13.16
I have the same question - what to do to make Oracle a connection provider. Currently I have only ODBC in the drop-down box.

Assuming that you've followed the 'INSTALL' file and installed the instant client, created the library link etc etc, try :-
./configure --without-kde --without-rpath
make
su
make install
cd $HOME
tora &
...... and tora may fire up.
