In Windows apps, you can normally put the cursor in one place, then scroll your whole document, then shift-click at the bottom to highlight the region between the original cursor position and the new position. The Post Window's Send Data text box doesn't support this convention, and it's damn annoying when you want to delete pages of XML data. Mouse drag works, but it's very slow and unreliable (since the mouse button typically releases and pushes down again half-way through the document when you're using a crappy mouse in the machine room).
Shift-clicking should highlight the desired region.
This might be a Tk problem.

Yep... that's how Tk does it...

Jeff, this might be an RFE, but for Windows users this is a bug. We should look into adding this functionality in 8.4 or later.

I cloned this for Tk so that I can mark the fixed in versions properly; I'm not sure what to do with the Ajuba bug except leave it open with a reference to this clone. When the Ajuba people come back to look at the Ajuba bug, they will see that Tk has been fixed and then they can evaluate what to do in Ajuba.
