There is a problem with Tixclips. The (read) function on MS windows NT and XP does not wait for user input and just immediately returns EOF.
Most of the examples that have user interaction do not work correctly because of this problem. The (readline) command has the some problem.
I really like the GUI and would love to be able to use Tixclips as my development environment, but this is a big problem.
