After installing tinycobol_0.60-1_i386.deb, I couldn't
compile to save my life. Error msg was:
"/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lhtcobol"
Searched for it, and found it in /usr/lib, so I tried
to pass '/usr/lib' to the linker via the -L parameter.
Didn't work...
After thinking about it, the real library
"libhtcobol.so.0.60.0" has a link pointing to it called
"libhtcobol.so.0". The linker doesn't like that
particular name, so I built another link to the real
library w/ the following command:
"ln -s libhtcobol.so.0.60.0 libhtcobol.so"
So, in summary, the problem isn't with the link path,
it's with the (aliased) name of the library itself.
