#2 CSS/JS dropdown menus instead of pure CSS

The CSS focus actions make it impossible to create dropdowns which can handle the mouse leaving the menu for even a millisecond. And i'm not sure animating menu movement is possible either.

There is plenty of nice js code which would make the menus much more frendly for the users. Transmenu is a good example of one.

    Will do. Menu should be dropped down on click IMHO. This is well known behaviour in desktop application and core library aims to imitate it.

    Writing independent package with UDM menu is worth consideration.
