Tifftool is a high-performance tool to clean scanned documents in preparation for onscreen display or for OCR. This is the first version of tifftool that has been made available to the public.

Features of the 0.9 release include skew correction, orientation correction, despeckle, thicken, and page alignment. The tool also supports batch processing through a simple scripting language.
