Ladies and Gentlemen (do we have ladies ? :-),
I'm very proud to announce a new feature of the server, now avaible
from CVS at a SourceForge near you: a brand-new and working Qt-FrontEnd !
Thanks to Thomas "Tommy" Reinhardt, who will join us soon (I don't know yet how
his SourceForge account name will be, so I wrote "Tommy" in the actual
sources). He showed me the way to Qt in a multi-threaded environment and I
learned to handled it (the current Qt-frontend is based on his work).
Some words about the client:
I've added a class 'Config' for handling simple configuration files (90% done),
and modified the client to check these new functions. To disable them, simply
set /* and */ in 3Dsia/client/client.cpp (I commented the beginning and end of
my tests, you shouldn't have problems commenting them out :-)
I will remove this soon, and integrate configuration-handling as a
standard-part of the client.
I will also soon add configuration-frontends like those in the server to the
client for setting up the client (e.g. calibrating the joystick), stay tuned
for this feature :-)
So, have a nice day,

I'd like to announce a new feature: the client now supports a Qt
configuration frontend. At the moment there is just a window popping up, and
that's it. I will fill it up within the next days :-)
