Hi,
Whenever I close and reopen TexStudio, the positions of the windows
Main window and internal pdf-viewer change. This includes the zoom
level of the internal viewer. In short, is there an option that I have to
tick in order to keep the exact same workspace after reopening the program?
Thanks.

Do you mean the positions of the windows on your screen (that should work) or
the cursor position (which should work for if you have options ->
automatically restore session activated) ? Positions or zoom levels of the PDF
viewer are not stored.

But you can change the default zoom level in the preview config page. (set
"scale option" to "scaled size", and you have to restart texstudio after
changing the default scaling)

I would like to add that the position of the windows themselves are in
absolute coordinates, This inconvenient when you switch from 2 screens to one
screen without moving back TexStudio's window to the main screen.

We did some changes to the window positioning in the latest SVN. Did you check
if it's fixed there?
I'm on the release right now, as soon as I finish my thesis definition, I'll
try the svn version. Thanks.
