I use TexStudio v.2.5 on my personal machine with the latest MacOS. The spell checking feature says "no dictionary found" nor is there a thesaurus found. It is unclear to me where these dictionary files are located, if at all in the MacOS version of TexStudio. I also use TexStudio on my PC at my job at school, and the spell check feature is already set up and automated and works fine. Please help address this issue because I would like to use TexStudio on my mac.

I also had trouble with this is in the past but I got it to work. My dictionary is located at

    /Applications/texstudio.app/Contents/Resources

then select your language. Thesaurus at

    /Applications/texstudio.app/Contents/Resources/th_en_US_v2.dat

added this path to the search paths in OSX build (rev. 3477). Could someone building on Mac please check if the dictionaries are now found out-of-the-box?

Tim. I tested this on a colleagues Mac and it works perfectly. The paths are there.
