Hi,
I found some unfriendly behaviour when using TeXstudio.
-1. Platform: Windows 7
0. TeXstudio Version: TeXstudio 2.8.6 (hg 4748:330327fcc9c9)
1. prepare a latex project which contains multi latex source files
(I attach a test sample below)
2. open the main.tex file, and compile the project
(don't open other .tex files now)
3. use windowed viewer to view the pdf file
(make sure that the windowed viewer and main window is on the same screen)
4. scroll on windowed viewer, if you encounter some content which is on another .tex file, TeXstudio will open it.
Sometimes, it open the .tex file and everything is OK, but sometimes, the main window will pop up and the windowed viewer is switched to the background. (If you use multi screen or windowed viewer and main window are not overlapped with each other, then it's ok)
I guess it's a feature rather than a bug, but I still find it necessary to fixed it, since it makes people uncomfortable when using it.
Thanks.
To prevent opening files in the main window, uncheck
Options -> Cursors follows scrolling
in the windowed viewer.Hi Tim,
It works! Thanks so much.
