This bug is somewhat unusual, as I configured TexMakerX to run with Green text on Black background (so called "high contrast view"). This works fine for most text, but when I use non-Latin Unicode scripts (Hebrew, Arabic, Syriac) the characters are painted in black, effectively making them invisible. I should note that no characters should be black in the editor color configuration.
which OS do you use ?
How do you type that kind of letters ?
I use Windows XP [Version 5.1.2600] SP3. I type these scripts using the keyboard (with the appropriate keyboard locale).
i can not reproduce that bug.
Could you send the texmakerx.ini and a text file which contains these letters ?

Hello. I am not the original poster, but I am facing the same problem -- right-to-left text shows up black against the background.
Hi talazem,
could you please provide an example tex file containing such a text?
