In Texniccenter RC 1, when open a .tex file, it automatically checks if a .tcp file of the same name exists. If so, it will prompt to open the .tcp file. However this feature disappears in Texniccenter 2.0 Alpha 4 (or also Alpha 1-3. I have not tested them).
The feature is extremely useful when use inverse search feature from SumatraPDF. If a .pdf file generated by Texniccenter from a .tex file is openned before Texniccenter is running, and is double clicked somewhere, Texniccenter will be automatically started with the corresponding .tex file open. In before it checks and prompts to open .tcp file, so that we can begin editing and compiling again. However now it does not check to open .tcp file, we must manually load the .tcp file again, which is really not convenient.
I believe this is some feature that we should keep.
