Hello.
I've customized syntax coloring via Tools > Options > Text Format, but I see some colors I haven't set up, and that I can't change.
In the image I attach, I don't know how that "dark red" and "purple" colors happened to appear there.
My current color definition is this:
Selection margin : 128 | 128 | 128
White spaces : 0 | 0 | 0
Text background : 0 | 0 | 0
Normal text : 255 | 255 | 255
Text background (selection) : set to default
Normal text (selection) : set to default
Keyword : 209 | 255 | 0
Operator : 209 | 255 | 0
Text in \verbatim : 204 | 153 | 0
Normal text in equation ($$) : 0 | 153 | 204
Keyword in equation ($$) : 0 | 209 | 255
Matched brace background : 255 | 209 | 0
Matched brace text : set to default
Matched brace background (at cursor) : 204 | 153 | 0
Matched brace text (at cursor) : set to default
Block background between braces : 51 | 51 | 51
Unmatched brace background : 255 | 0 | 209
Unmatched brace text : set to default
Group name : 255 | 209 | 0
Digits : set to default (75 | 30 | 200), a kind of dark blue
Units : set to default (100 | 125 | 0), a kind of green
I chose colors mostly using the color picker tool, in case it matters.
So, I don't know where those red and purple came from! :( They're annoying.
Looking forward to your answer,

The described error is already listed in the bug list.
Thank you for your report.
The color stuff needs to be reworked.
Tino,
I still see this mistake in the last version of TeXnicCenter (2.0 Beta 2 (64 bits)).
Maybe it is because I installed the last version without uninstalling the previous one (Alpha), and the existing settings have been taken.
How can I fix this??
I remind you my problem: I see square and round brackets in dark red, and curly brackets or braces in soft blue, even if I select any of the default color schemes.
Looking forward a solution,
