Thanks for a greatly improved version of TC. It works fast and well on an up-to-date XP/miktex2.7/gs8.70/sumatra0.94, but I had to tweak the settings in the build profile for LaTeX => PDF. The two required changes are:
1) In the (La)TeX page, under "Command line arguments to pass", the words
-synctex=-1
are missing from the beginning.
2) In the Viewer page, under "View project's output", one must choose "Command line argument" and type in "%bm.pdf" instead of the [Forward....] which is only appropriate for the "Forward Search".
With this settings, I can click on the pdf file (open in sumatra) to edit the source at the right spot.
Unfortunately, the first time I build and view w/ these modified Latex=>pdf settings, the yellow welcome page of sumatra flashes briefly and then the pdf appears with a blue horizontal strip where the cursor was in the tex file. I dont like the blue strip but I can live with it.
I have not tweaked the TeX=>dvi=>pdf settings yet, but presumably similar changes are required.
Keep up the good work!

The described error has been added to the official bug list.
Thank you for your report.
Changed 1) but not 2) (see http://william.famille-blum.org/blog/index.php?entry=entry080515-065447\) The blue stripe in SumatraPDF is absolutely unrelated to TeXnicCenter.
TeXnicCenter uses [ForwardSearch("%bm.pdf","%nc",%l,0)] instead of
[ForwardSearch("%bm.pdf","%Wc",%l,0)] (notice %nc and %Wc) as suggested by a commenter in the above blog entry. Not sure which one we should actually use. Any comments?
